1.1. There shall be twenty (20) players qualified for the World Cup. 全部20名參賽者

1.2. The current World Champion shall be automatically qualified.最近的世錦賽冠軍？去年是馬龍，今年沒辦。去年世錦賽已經用在去年的世界杯了。

1.3. Seventeen (17) additional players shall qualify through the Continental Cups and via the ITTF World Ranking if all qualification events are not held.其中17名選手出自於洲際杯賽果，如果所有的洲賽都沒辦，就依世界排名。

1.4. If no players qualify from the host association through items 1.2 or 1.3 above, then a host association player shall be nominated by his or her association.地主國保障名額，中國沒差

1.5. If a host association player is already qualified through items 1.2 or 1.3 above, then an additional player shall be added from the Continental Cups and via the ITTF World Ranking if all qualification events are not held.地主國保障名額，我怎麼看不懂？

1.6. The ITTF shall select a Wild Card direct entry to complete the field of twenty (20) players.  國際桌協給的外卡名額

2.7.1 The top 3 ranked players from the Asian Cup players list published on the 2020 Asian Cup prospectus, with respect to the limit of 2 players per Association, according to the latest available ITTF World Ranking will qualify, for a total of 3 players. Should the relevant event be completed the winner of the Asian Cup, plus the second (2nd) and third (3rd) highest finishers shall qualify, for a total of 3 players. 今年亞洲杯的邀請名單中，世界排名順序的前三名

2.7.2. The winner of the Europe Cup, plus the second (2nd) and third (3rd) highest finishers shall qualify, for a total of 3 players. 歐洲杯結果的前三名。歐洲三名

2.7.3. The winner of the Pan America Cup, plus the second (2nd) highest finisher shall qualify, for a total of 2 players. 美洲杯結果的前兩名。美洲兩名

2.7.4. The winner of the Africa Cup shall qualify, a total of 1 player. 非洲杯冠軍。非洲一名

2.7.5. The top ranked player from Oceania according to the latest available ITTF World Ranking will qualify, for a total of 1 player. Should the relevant event be completed the winner of the Oceania Cup will qualify, for a total of 1 player. 大洋洲杯冠軍一名。大洋洲一名。

2.7.6. The remaining seven (7) players, or eight (8) players if the host association player has already qualified, shall be selected among players from all continents from the players in the topmost place on the qualifying positions from each Continental Cup and for the continents where the Continental Cup did not take place based on the WR (for Asia only considering the Asian Cup players list). The selection will apply with respect to the limit of 2 players per Association and points 2.4, 2.5, 2.6. There shall be a limitation of not more than 4 (if 7 spots) or 5 (if 8 spots) players from the same continent.餘下的7-8個名額，地主國優先，再來是非洲杯、美洲杯、大洋洲杯前四名或亞洲、歐洲前八名。如果沒滿，就再往下取名次。一洲最多不得超過4名或5名參賽者。
